The Patty Hearst Noise Opera + Horse Opera

Patty Hearst Noise Opera

A cathartic transference of the story of the kidknapping of Patty Hearst by the Symbionese Liberation Army in 1974. Based on the kidnapping tapes by Hearst to her parents, the opera extricates the fear, boredom and eventual brief transformation into revolutionary. Written & choreographed by Leila Mihal & Alistair Ling.

The Hoodangers

The Hoodangers (Melb) grooves and tunes are jazz-punk-folk based as they switch with ease from 100 year old classics to 3 minute Melbourne anthems. The sound belies description but is characterised by intense energy and commitment to rhythm and piss-take.
