World of Women Film Festival

Screening over three days at the Peacock Theatre the WOW Film Festival will offer three different programs.
Wide Angle Tasmania and The Hobart Fringe Festival present screenings from the national tour of the WOW film festival.
WOW is a short film festival that promotes and awards the talents of women directors, producers, writers, editors and cinematographers in the Australian film industry and in Oceania.
It is a unique festival that offers emerging and established filmmakers the opportunity to screen short works giving a thematic perspective of “seeing the world through the eyes of women”.
The three different screenings, 2pm on Saturday, 6pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday, will feature the a documentary program, a drama program and a fiction program respectively.
