Week Three - here we go
Week two of the festival turned up some delights - packed audiences at The Peacock to see both The Pharmacist and Two Women and a Chair, Melbourne punk band The Dacios supported by local blues act Moe Grizzly, a delightful Buskers Night in Elizabeth Street and of course the inspirational and sold out Fashion Show.
Week three has a lot to offer as well. Hold on for the jazz inspired hard core punk band, Off Minor, from the USA, performing their only Tasmanian show on Tuesday night at the Peacock (licensed all ages).
Eulogy - A Homage to WH Auden (The New York Years) will be performed at the Peacock as Fancy Fare - a comedy about fine dining - will be accompanied by fine dining at Mures Upperdeck from Wednesday onwards.
Bridget Nicklason King's Bust A Move dance workshops continue at the Salamanca Arts Centre and the contempory dance group, Hot Vanilla, will perform 'Perfectly Secret' at the Peacock on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Friday night local oz-rock-folk with a touch of pub,The Boarding Party, will play the Brisbane supported by the Slaughterhouse Band and Whose Is Bloody Whose.
Friday night will also feature a rock show with sound, light and visuals, BAT, supported by Deb Mansky at the Peacock.
and so it goes.
