The Hobart Fringe Festival and Disconnect Records are excited to present jazz influenced, hard core punk band Off Minor.
Supported by The Scandal they will be playing a licensed all ages gig at The Peacock Theatre on Tuesday, April 15.
The New York based three-piece band features ex-members of seminal punk outfit Saetia. The three members create music that alternates between beauty and chaos, quiet reflection and driven, jazz-inspired rock, all accompanied by the emotive vocals of both the guitarist and bassist.
Like their lyrics, Off Minor’s music is intelligent and complex.
The band’s sensibilities are evident in the fact that they prefer to play in art galleries, theatres and even church halls as opposed to the usual sorts of music venues.
This is their only performance in Tasmania
