Super 8 Competition Screening

The Super 8 competition was screened on Tuesday night at the Brisbane Hotel.

As in past years, the screening was the first time that even the film makers had seen the films.

The theme for this year's competition, given to film makers when they collected their films, was 'To Mock a Killing Bird,' and was encompassed in very different manners - though the appearance of plovers, chooks and other fascinator style birds was rife.

The winner, in a field of six films of varying quality, '((///\\\))),' was made by Pip, Emma Jean and Jesse, starring Emma Jean and Sam.
